Conservation of arid mangrove ecosystems in Baja California Sur, Mexico
Creation of Artificial Ecosystems from Desert Wastelands

Fallow desert lands in Baja California Sur, suitable for creation of an artificial mangrove ecosystem.
In several areas (like Hong Kong and Baja California Sur, Mexico), some of the mangrove ecosystems share the same geographical area as nearby growing urban areas, thus slow destruction is inevitable. However, especially in low-populated desert coastal areas, there is an alternative; reforestation of unused lands.
